Mentors and Alumnae
Sophia
Graduated 2019
Sophia was a member of the Techno Chix from 2015 to 2019 and a member of the Techno Teams starting in FLL in 2012. She was our head outreach coordinator and organizer when she wasn't working on fundraising and communications. She ran numerous coding workshops throughout her time on the Chix. Sophia is attending Smith College for psychology.
Elanagh
Graduated 2019
Elanagh was on the Techno Chix from 2015 to 2019 and has been a part of the Techno Teams since Jr. FLL in 2010. She did most of her work with the design and build of the robot as well as the engineering notebook and organization. Elanagh is attending Virginia Tech for animal and poultry sciences. She will continue to mentor the Chix throughout the year.
Sarita
Graduated 2019
Sarita was a member of the Techno Chix from 2015 to 2019 and she started on our sister FLL team, the Techno Girls, in 2012. She worked heavily with the design and build of the robot. Sarita is attending RIT for engineering.
Juan
Graduated 2018
Juan was a member of the FTC team John Jay Metal Benders in 2017-2018. He mentors frequently in design, prototyping, and build at our Sunday practices. Juan is currently attending Binghamton University.
Susie
Graduated 2018
Susie is going to Colorado College. She headed outreach for the Techno Chix from 2014 to 2018 and was a part of the Techno Teams since Jr. FLL.
Rebecca
Graduated 2018
Rebecca is attending Carnegie Melon for computer science. She was on the Techno Chix in the 2017 - 2018 season as our head programmer.
Sarah
Graduated 2018
Sarah is studying human nutrition, foods, and exercise at Virginia Tech. She was a Chick in the 2017 - 2018 season but an honorary Techno Chix member for many years prior. She worked heavily with the team outreach, online presence, and fundraising as well as general organization and documentation. She was dubbed the "team mom" and never failed to prepare food for the team.
Tara
Graduated 2018
Tara was a designer and builder for the Chix from 2016 - 2017. She worked with outreach and fundraising as well. She currently studies at MIT.
Emilia
Graduated 2017
​Emilia attends NYU studying Computer Science at the Tandon School of Engineering. She was a member of the Techno Chix from 2014-2017, was our lead programmer in the 2016 - 2017 season, and was a Dean's List Finalist in 2016. She helps us in every aspect of robotics and is a very special friend and mentor to the Chix.

When not busy with schoolwork, Emilia cross-stitches and buys teas to add to her ever-growing collection. She is a big fan of green teas, herbal teas, and bubble teas and appreciates any and all recommendations.

Graduated 2017
Julia was on the Chix from 2013 to 2016. She spent most of her time working on design and build as well as outreach.

Claire was a Chick from 2011 to 2015. She attends Mount Holyoke College.

Laurel was a member of the Bionic Gaels. She graduated from WPI after majoring in robotics and frequently volunteers throughout the FTC community.
